Learning points
1) When you love someone, the best gift for the person is to be present for the person (to be fully present in the here and now by breathing in and out mindfully)
2) When Mind and Body are together, you are truly there and when you are truly there, you have something to offer to your beloved one...i.e, your presence.
3) Darling, you know, I am here for you....this is the practice of true love in Buddhism, this the best kind of gift to a person's beloved
4) "How can you love you are not there?" To love means is to be there...to be there means to be mindful.
5) 4 Mantras: 1st Mantra is darling, i am here for you (only works if mind and body are together)...the sender and receiver will receive happiness immediately
Pebble meditation
1st pebble
6) Imagine I am a flower, Breathing in I see myself as a flower, breathing out I feel fresh and beautiful
2nd pebble
7) Imagine I am a mountain (it is our solidity, stability) this is to restore our stability. Breathing in I see myself as a mountain and breathing out I feel solid
3rd pebble
8) Imagine I am still water can reflect as they truly are. This is to restore our peace and calm. Breathing in I see myself as still water, breathing out I reflect things as they are
4th pebble
9) Representing space... Breathing in I see myself as space, breathing out I feel free. A person who doesn't have space in her heart, a person full of anger projects worry...cannot be happy person. That's why we need more space, freedom...If you love someone, you may offer her more space and freedom. But we have to offer space for ourselves first before we offer to others.
